My 9 year old son has been taking lessons with Jen at Cocklin Music Studio for one year now, and finding her program was such a gift. She is the best teacher. She is thoughtful, kind, easy to communicate with and learn from. She makes the lessons fun and includes a variety of tools for teaching music. My son looks forward to his piano lesson each week and I look forward to seeing Miss Jen and watching my son's growth.
She is a treasure to be found and if you are considering taking lessons, do not hesitate -- this is THE PLACE to learn from. We are so fortunate to be able to learn from the best.

Finding Mrs. Cocklin has been a blessing. She has given my son a positive and fun start to piano lessons and reading music. He is an active 8-year-old boy and she keeps him interested and motivated to practice. He enjoys Mrs. Cocklin's positive attitude, one on one time, duets, games and contests. It has been amazing to watch him become more confident each week. My 4 & 5 year old kids love going to piano with Mrs Jen. They both have very different personalities and learning styles, but she is so adaptable. I can't imagine a better teacher - especially for young kids. She makes learning music terms and notes fun. -Samantha H.
I worked with Mrs. Cocklin and I have to say...this woman's love for music is infectious. She loves teaching music and has worked with kids of various ages and different backgrounds, including school-age kids with disabilities. Mrs. Cocklin is extremely patient and kind, taking the time to share her love of music with others.
